About Us

Our research group, with members from various Galician and Irish universities, studies the literary and cultural relations between Ireland and Galicia, with a special focus on contemporary women writers. Since 2006, we have analysed notions relevant to both communities such as: nation, language, myth, gender and genre, foreignness and migration. We are currently researching into emergent discourses on the relationship  between women and nature in literature and the visual arts.
