About Us

Our research group, with members from various departments of Galician and Irish Studies in Spain and other European countries, delves into the literary and cultural relations between Ireland and Galicia, with a special focus on women’s contemporary writing. Since 2006, we have analysed notions relevant to both communities such as patriarchy, nation, linguistic conflict, foreignness, migration, ecology and humanimal bonds. Our current project inquires into the “Posthuman Intersections in Irish and Galician Literatures”.
